Writing Portion of Unit Test The Outsiders Directions: Choose one of the following options for your writing assignment for The Outsiders. In your letter or eulogy, use details from the book as well as emotions you think the characters would express after all they have been through together. Options:

Design large poster for this novel that will generate interest in the details of the characters and the story line. Your artistic rendering should focus on the distinctiveness of the individual characters, facial features, and objects that are their “trademarks”. Use color schemes that define the mood and theme of the book.
Make a list of the emotional high points and low points in the novel (in chronological order). Then using Garage Band or your own instruments create a musical score for the novel, changing the tempo, rhythm, etc. to connect to those emotional points you listed. Record it or play it for us live with your list for reference.
